Mutual Aid: Disability Peer Support [30 MIN]
What does this aid offer?
Being disabled can suck sometimes, I know, but what has gotten me through is community and mutual support. So in an effort to celebrate those before me who are gone, I will give 30 minutes of my time for peer support, at no cost. From sharing tips privately and publicly, transporting medical data, or completing quick research into relevant disability advocacy resources; I hope to support the global disability community however I can.
Conversations may explore possible resources, strategies others have used to navigate barriers, or methods for researching information and identifying organizations. Engagement from both participants helps explore directions that may be worth investigating.
